Do you know what it takes?

Do you know what is takes?

Do you have what it takes?

Are you ready to give what it takes?

It takes,

Every ounce of your existence,

Every drop of courage,

Every bead of sweat that drips,

Every hour of your sleep,

Every minute of your free time,

Every second that you could have spent binge-watching,

That is what it takes, 

To make it, 

Or break it,

All you in for it?

All the way long?

Not a moment of respite,

The thorns will prick at your feet as you walk down this road,

And the bystanders will throw stones,

They will bring you down,

But are you ready to stand up again?

Are you willing to stand and walk again?

No matter how many times you will have to pick yourself?

It will take time,

Don’t know how much,

It may take a lot of time,

Are you read to sustain?

Will you stay with moaning?

Will you stay without complaining?

Are you ready to face failure without fear?

Are you ready to walk alone?

Are you ready to give up your attachments?

Are you willing to sacrifice at the alter?

Are you willing to shed your blood as an offering?

Are you willing to smile through your tears?

Are you ready to go forth boldly?

Without any hesitance, 

Without any anxiety,

Without any doubt,

For nothing cripples you like self-doubt,

Nothing kills you like anxiety, 

And this path maybe filled with it.

Are you ready to believe?

Believe in your dreams,

Like no one else has,

For if you don’t have that burning belief in yourself,

Who else will believe in you?

Are you ready to march on with confidence?

Ready to battle with your fears?

Ready to work hard, day and night?

Each and every day without rest?

Do you want it as bad as you want to breathe?

Would you rather be dead, than not have it?

If you said,

Yes,

Yes,

Yes,

Yes,

Yes,

Yes….

To each and every question,

Then congratulations, 

You can do it.

You can do whatever you want to do.

Whatever you set to do.

For suffering is an offering to the Goddess of success,

She is the harsh kind,

She demands your blood, flesh, sweat, tears, heart and existence. 

And sometimes, 

Despite all of that she is not happy, 

Maybe she is sadistic,

But that is what she requires,

And sometimes she may torture you,

Give it all to you, 

Only to take it away at the next instance,

Give it all to you,

Only to leave you unsatisfied and wanting for more and more,

And if you are ready to endure it all,

Survive through it all,

Not give up at all despite all that torture,

And then if you are lucky enough,

She will honor your sacrifice,

She will bless you with success,

She will bless you with satisfaction,

And this is what it takes,

Do you have what it takes?

Are you ready to do what it takes?

Are you ready to give what it takes to achieve your dreams?
